My son and husband played a joke on me friday night but it was a good one so that made the weekend then my Dad got his thumb and index finger cut by his saw because he was cutting something for Justin so I feel bad about that he may have to have plastic surgery on the end of it in Halifax I learned that on facebook they didn't even tell me that.

Today was a beautiful fall day I sat on the deck and read a bit today and laid in the sun. Had a BBQ for supper. Yesterday I got a lot done but wanted to get more especially when Justin said boy you didn't cross much off your list Mom. Nice. I am in a throwing out mood want to get rid of the clutter in my life. Brooke stayed over night at her cousin Julia's house all night last night Tanya and Andrew sure had theor hands full had 5 kids to watch for the night all was good though.

Boy I have been really slack on here lately but since Brooke started her first year of school things tend to build up Today is going to be my clean up day I have a list of things that I want to accomplish today and hopefully will get through them in time to do some scrapbooking for myself or just sit in the sun and read a booke Brooke loves school and the bus and everything about it Atleast Justin has 2 years in the school with her before he leaves but she is quite content with some of the other kids to hang around anyway.
Now to clean up my life I find when things start to become over whleming it is time for an overall A clean sweep to copy the TV program so that is my goal for today

Today is mid week to my 2 week vacation I think today is going to be a beach day. I managed to paint the shed in this heat and then the power went out last night when we were our hottest Not good to entertain the kids and keep cool with no power. My friend Maria is my blog guru so I am going to try and make more entries that make more sense to other people and not just my ramblings She always has such good topics. I just finished a book called 20 wishes It is a list that you make of your top 20 wishes in life. One lady in the book even made a mini album of her 20 wishes. I will have to work on that when I have time

went to Grand Lake today stressful trip but went regardless.B's cousin is coming over for a visit and a pretend sleep over as there is poker tonight, we will see how that goes

Tomorrow is friday , last day of work before my vacation for weeks can't wait . All I plan on doing is some day trips and lots of work around the house. B is off for a play date tomorrow and J is spending the day with my Dad Thank goodness as I discovered at the last minute that my babysitter is off tomorrow and the next 2 weeks oh well all ended well

Well today is my hubbys 39th birthday My parents and his parents were both here to visit and both brought cake yummmm and I didn`t have to make one even better. One thing that I any not good at is buying him presents He is so good at picking out presents and I get boring things even thought they are things he likes and says he needs oh well I will try again next time

back from a wonderful trip to Cape Brenton Why do people travel so far away when there is such pretty scenery right here in our backyard and it helped that my work paid for the whole trip including a one hour massage at the spa. Great friends were there to share the trip too. Kids had good weekend sounds like they were really busy too

Well I am off to a relaxed weekend Thank God because our neighbour who is convicted sex offender has been released for good He hardly would say served so much as a sentence and has been home on weekend passes all along and even for christmas what kind of ounishment is that I ask I am off to a weekend at Keltic Lodge resort in Cape Brenton with another lady from work. Work gave us this trip as thanks to the work we have done on their comany 100th history There were alot of hours involved but since it involves scrapbooking it wasn't work at all. The girls are being pampered on Sat afternoon and then we are whalewatching on Sunday This si a place that we would never afford on our own and they ahve ev en supplied 100.00 in gas certificates to get there. We are going to take our time getting there leaving very early in the morning as it is a 4 hour drive so It will be later Sunday for my return Hope everyone has a great weekend

2. Good friends to scraplift ideas from that usually gives me the incentive
3. The same New years resolution that I have been using for the last couple of years " Try Something New " For example this years I taught scrapbooking to 4 H'ers fun and last year I entered pictures in the exhibition and won 1st plce for one of my photos
4.Magazines I love magazines as soon as they come in the mail I read front to back and then back to front.
5. I know this may sound strange but Kleenex boxes are a great source for colour combinations
6. Books I do not know what I would do if I ever lost the ability to pick up a good book
7 Coffee gotta have my caffeine
8. My kids they come with the crqaziest ideas that are usually quite neat
9. facebook I would get stumpe for something and put my question out there and all kinds of suggestions come up
10. The Fall I love autumn The whole season Halloween harvesting I loved the colour c ombinations

Today was another hot day and I know I shouldn't be complaining I am getting ready for a weekend away so that is nice and W is off coaching soccer for J and his team meanwhile B is just taking it easy. I really am pondering peoples ac tions today. You have these people that you have know for a long time and consider them like family but you get more consideration from people that have not know you all your lives Life sure is funny My thoughts are also going to a little girl who got food posioning from a local restaurant and she went inot kidney failure is doing better but has a lot restriction put on her for atleast the next 5 years because of it I really hope the restaurant gets closed down or something

Well today was good day. Went out to my parents and of course Kelly showed up with her kids so that the cousins could all play together They had agreat time my Dad planted pumpkin seeds that I gave him to plant with all the grandkids . They are all registered and can get entered in a pumpkin competition in the fall Can't wait to see the results

Well back from a nice visit with my god son and his family Sun was out and the kids had fun in the pool. My hubby is working tomorrow even though most of us get it off. It is supposed to rain tomorrow so maybe I will take the kids out to moms for a visit. I haven't had any comments on my blog but then again I don't know the first thing about blogging either . I still have a mess in my scrapbook room to clean up butI usually find things I forgot I had when I do a clean up so all is good.

Well had a few show up for the scrapping day It did get warm in the house though. I learnt that I might actually like sketches I did a few yesterday we will see how it goes from here I usually just do my own thing, have learned that scraplifting can be fun too Well off to visit friends in Sackville for the day

Justin home from camp today. I swear he had the same shorts on as when he left but he had a good time so who cares He has brushed his teeth and had a shower now so all is well . Another hot long day. My husband is mowing the lawn and likely cooking. Girls coming over tomorrow to scrap not sure how many coming but we will see

My husband bought a new shirt that was a bit of an unusual colour the other day and all I could think of was that would make a neat scrapbook page Ha Ha

Well today was really hot nice to see the sun for a change , atleast Justin is having nice wseather for camp Hope he is having a good time. I think I finished pinting Brooke room today Hit my head on her ceiling while painting and now have white hair My mother says now I know what it is like to be grey Ha Ha

Today I worked in airconditioning all day Then came out to a blast of hot air 29 degrees finally summer. Am still pissed off about the whole 4H thing with Justin but time to move on. Painted Brookes room tonight worked at it for about 3 hours straight looking up finally alot of work to be done befreo Sat when hopefully some girls are coming over to scrap.

Off To Camp

Today I am taking my son off to camp for the first time He is going to the same camp that I went with my sister when we were young. My mother says were younger than he is when we went and I keep thinking who is going to remind him to brush his teeth and change his clothes, he is a boy after all. J has gone to day camps before and he has no problems getting thrown into a group of kid she has never met before but you still have to think about him being gone for the whole week with nobody he knows. All part of growing up I suppose. So while he is gone we are taking everything out of his sisters room and painting it So the house wsill be in an uproar most of the week and I have girls coming over next Sat for a scrapbooking day so I hope it is back to normal by then.

supernatural

I don't if it supernatural powers or what but I have some recent experiences that have made me go hmmm. We recently redid our bathroom in an older home and ever since then I had had 3 that I know of weird experiences. The first 2 were the sensation that someone had tapped me on the shoulder while I was standing in front of the sink same place both times. The third was I went in the shower and when I came out the tap in the sink was running full tilt and my 2 kids were in bed sound asleep. Weird
